It’s Leek and Potato soup for lunch this week!

Hi everyone, welcome to my blog, this week I’m talking about our Christmas Countdown, homemade soup and switching utility bills.

If there is anything else you would like to talk about, please let me know in this blog’s comments section.

Grow your own – my allotment

Yesterday I popped over to my allotment and dug up some leeks. I collected the last sack of Potatoes. It seemed quite sad that it was the last one!

So I’m definitely going to be making Leek and Potato soup with fresh homemade bread for lunch this week!  Let me know your favourite recipe in the comments.

Christmas Countdown

There are 45 weeks and 5 days until Christmas Day. If you decided to join me on my Christmas Countdown Challenge and save £20.00 a week, your total should be £100.00 already!

Christmas Party

By Christmas, you would have saved £980.00 if all goes to plan.

But let us face it, life is not always that simple, so if you cannot save every week, do not worry, start the next week again.

Hints and Tips

I have just switched my gas, electricity, and broadband supplier. Which I am hoping will save me money, every month. I do this regularly to reduce my annual bills. Join my Facebook group and let me know if you agree, switch or not to switch?
