How many weeks until Christmas?

Hi everyone,

Thanks for reading my blog, this week is all about my Christmas Countdown and my Allotment

The Christmas Countdown

How many weeks until Christmas? There are now 31 weeks and one day until Christmas Day. If you have continued to save £20.00 a week, your total should be £380.00 already!

The idea is that saving towards Christmas will help with your Christmas Budget. Making your life a little easier and less stressful.

By Christmas, you would have saved £980.00 if all goes to plan.

But let us face it, life is not always that simple, so if you cannot save every week, do not worry, start the following week again.

My Allotment

The weather has been atrocious this last week. It has seemed like nothing but rain.

Runner Beans

But on the brighter side, I managed to plant all my runner beans into pots two weeks ago.

Now they’re just starting to come through, so it looks like we’re going to have runner beans this year. But until they are planted and producing beans, I’m not going to assume everything’s ok.

The Beetroot and Potatoes

The beetroot is doing well, and the potatoes are still chitting and will be planted at the end of this month. So quite honestly, it’s all coming together quite nicely.

Pumpkins

I have just planted some pumpkin seeds that I kept from last year, let’s hope they grow, I’ll keep you updated.

As I have said previously, I’m just a gardener hoping to inspire you to grow your own. If you need professional advice, then look for a qualified gardener who may help you.
